To avoid any surprises, here's what's not included in the prize:
- ✈️ Flights or transportation to Madrid (departure point of the trip)
- 🍽 Meals, dinners, and personal expenses during the trip
- 🚕 Transfers outside the planned itinerary
- 👶 Additional costs for companions not included in the prize (children, third person, etc.)
- 🧾 Any trip modification that involves additional costs (date changes, extra activities, upgrades, etc.)
- 🛎 Minibar consumption, room service, or damage to the accommodation
- ⏰ Costs arising from missed flights or personal delays
- 📆 The trip cannot be made during peak season (Day of the Dead, Guelaguetza, and Christmas)
🗺 DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival in Mexico City
Reception at the airport and transfer to the MX Condesa hotel (a cool area, perfect for strolling).
Day 2 – Urban Exploration
Guided tour of the Roma and Condesa neighborhoods + La Ciudadela craft market, where Jess, co-founder of MEXAS, discovered and bought her first huaraches.
Day 3 – Teotihuacan
Excursion to the Pyramids + visit to the Basilica of Guadalupe.
Day 4 – Culture and color
Coyoacán, Frida Kahlo Museum and trajinera ride through Xochimilco.
Day 5 – Heading to Oaxaca
Flight from Mexico City to Oaxaca and free afternoon in one of Mexico's most authentic cities.
Day 6 – Alebrijes and art
Monte Albán + visit to the Manos Que Ven workshop + painting your own alebrije.
Day 7 – Nature and tradition
Excursion to Mitla, the Tule Tree, Teotitlán rugs, Hierve el Agua, and a visit to a mezcalería.
Day 8 – Return home
Transfer to the airport, flight from Oaxaca to Mexico City, and connection to Madrid.

We'll find dates that work for you during the 2025 low season (avoiding the Day of the Dead, Guelaguetza, and Christmas), as long as the total trip doesn't exceed €5,000. If you can't travel on these dates, the prize will be awarded to the next alternate winner.
Yes, as long as the total budget of €5,000 is met and the two destinations chosen are not changed: Mexico City and Oaxaca. If you prefer to stay in Mexico City every day or do fewer activities, we can accommodate this without any problem. We will adapt to the winner's preferences.
No, the trip is designed to visit Mexico City and Oaxaca. You can decide to stay 8 days in Mexico City or 8 days in Oaxaca, but you cannot change those destinations to go to Cancun, for example.
The prize covers flights from Madrid, accommodations, breakfast, and activities. It does not include other expenses such as meals, personal purchases, unforeseen transfers, or flights to Madrid.
No. MEXAS handles all tax procedures and pays the corresponding tax withholdings. The prize is valued at up to €5,000 and, as required by law, must be declared. We'll provide you with a certificate so you can include it in your tax return, but you won't have to pay anything extra to enjoy the trip .
The lottery is open to people with Spanish passports, although they can reside abroad. However, the trip begins and ends in Madrid.

Yes, you can participate. You just need to have it valid before your trip (it must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of your flight).
