TAMARINDO
Tamarind is a highly demanded fruit in Mexican cuisine and you can find it in multiple versions, from a michelada to jelly beans! Its color has inspired us for this pair of MEXAS.
- We wanted to design a pair of MEXAS similar to sandals but keeping our braided style and ta chaaan. Tamarind was born.
- It's wrong for us to say it but... THEY ARE THE MOST!
- We give you three simple reasons:
- They are light: We have incorporated a new"Microtech"sole that is much lighter than the white rubber sole while maintaining its durability and comfort.
- Very comfortable: The rear grip makes it an ideal pair of huaraches for thin or wide ankles. Even if they give in a little, they will never"get away"thanks to the closure.
- It goes with everything: This color goes with everything and also, the sole is dark so it is a shoe that"can suffer"all your adventures and walks.

We recommend that you choose your usual size. If they fit tight the first few days it is always better since, being made of leather, they will eventually adapt to your fit.

Composition
Chemical-free vegetable-tanned cowhide. Over time the leather of the MEXAS changes color, a sign that it is 100% natural. That is why they get darker just like we do when the sun hits on us :)
Care
You can clean them with a damp cloth, being careful not to get too wet as they darken.

Designed in Spain, 100% handmade in Mexico. All the raw materials used come from Mexico.
Our warehouse is in Madrid and is open from Monday to Friday. All orders placed before 3:00 p.m. are shipped on the same day.

Our huaraches are 100% handmade in Mexico following a traditional process with more than 500 years of history.
Chemical-free natural leather
The leather we use is vegetable-tanned and chemical-free. Over time the MEXAS leather gets darker, a sign that it is 100% natural.
They adapt to your fit
As they are 100% leather they will adapt to your feet shape.
Social impact
Part of the profit from each sale is donated to a NGO called "Mujeres Aliadas" who help indigenous women in the area we produce.
