APAPACHO
Apapachar, for a Mexican, means "to hug or caress with the soul," and honestly, this pastel-toned model felt very "hugable" to us.
- Choose your usual size.
- The cross-weaving fits the foot really well, and it’s a perfect fit if you have a slim foot. It’s the same weave as the Chiapas or Acapulco models, so if you have one of these, you’ll know this one will fit just as well.
- The base is a light skin tone (like Güerita, Tortilla, and Purépecha), and the straps are in pastel yellow, pink, lilac, and mint.
Perfect for those who want to add a subtle pop of color. - Sole: synthetic rubber, with a height of 1 cm and a 1.5 cm heel. It offers great traction and stability, is lightweight and flexible, ideal for walking safely on various surfaces.
We recommend that you choose your usual size. If they fit tight the first few days it is always better since, being made of leather, they will eventually adapt to your fit.

Origin
Huaraches are a traditional Mexican shoe, and at MEXAS, we honor this heritage by using only raw materials sourced from Mexico. We work hand in hand with different workshops to design new models, exploring color combinations and developments that keep this beautiful tradition alive for longer.

Vegetable-tanned cowhide leather* except for pastel-colored models.
Care
You can clean them with a damp cloth, being careful not to get them too wet as they may darken.
Our warehouse is in Madrid and is open from Monday to Friday. All orders placed before 3:00 p.m. are shipped on the same day.

Our huaraches are 100% handmade in Mexico following a traditional process with more than 500 years of history.
Chemical-free natural leather
The leather we use is vegetable-tanned and free of chemicals. MEXAS are suitable for those with chrome allergies.
They adapt to your fit
Since they are made of leather, they gradually stretch and adapt to your foot shape. They are very lightweight, flexible, and breathable, thanks to their signature woven design.
Social impact
We donate part of the profit from each sale to an NGO called "Mujeres Aliadas", located in Michoacán, the region where we produce our shoes.
