Mole is a Mexican sauce made with chilies, spices, and sometimes chocolate, blending sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. It’s a traditional dish often served on special occasions, and its color is reminiscent of this sandal.
MOLE is your go-to all-terrain sandal: all black, easy to clean, and with a secure ankle strap that keeps you steady while walking in style.

👣 Anatomical footbed
Shaped like a natural footprint in the sand: with contours and gentle curves that help distribute pressure and reduce strain when standing or walking for long hours.
💬 IMPORTANT
Even though it has a wide toe box and respects the natural shape of your foot, this model is not a pure barefoot sandal: the BIO sole is rigid and does not flex with your foot.
Still, it's a very respectful option if you're looking for space, support, and long-lasting comfort.

Origin
Huaraches are a traditional Mexican shoe, and at MEXAS, we honor this heritage by using only raw materials sourced from Mexico. We work hand in hand with different workshops to design new models, exploring color combinations and developments that keep this beautiful tradition alive for longer.
Composition
Vegetable-tanned cowhide leather* except for pastel-colored models.
Care
You can clean them with a damp cloth, being careful not to get them too wet as they may darken.
Our warehouse is in Madrid and is open from Monday to Friday. All orders placed before 3:00 p.m. are shipped on the same day.

Our huaraches are 100% handmade in Mexico following a traditional process with more than 500 years of history.
Chemical-free natural leather
The leather we use is vegetable-tanned and free of chemicals. MEXAS are suitable for those with chrome allergies.
They adapt to your fit
Since they are made of leather, they gradually stretch and adapt to your foot shape. They are very lightweight, flexible, and breathable, thanks to their signature woven design.
Social impact
We donate part of the profit from each sale to an NGO called "Mujeres Aliadas", located in Michoacán, the region where we produce our shoes.
