In Europe we would call it "hibiscus" but in Mexico it is called Flor de Jamaica. There it is drunk as water of the day to accompany lunch or dinner, very fresh.

  • Choose your usual size.
  • Very comfortable: The rear grip makes it an ideal pair of huaraches for thin or wide ankles. Even if they give way a little, they will never "slip off" thanks to the zipper.
  • They are lightweight: We have incorporated a new "Microtech" sole that is much lighter than the white rubber sole while maintaining its durability and comfort.
  • Available in three colors: TAMARINDO (brown), JAMAICA (light camel), GUAYABA (nude and brown).

We recommend that you choose your usual size. If they fit tight the first few days it is always better since, being made of leather, they will eventually adapt to your fit.

You can also consult our Sizing Guide where you will find the measurements of each model to compare it with your foot.

Chemical-free vegetable-tanned cowhide. Over time the leather of the MEXAS changes color, a sign that it is 100% natural. That is why they get darker just like we do when the sun hits on us :)

You can clean them with a damp cloth, being careful not to get too wet as they darken.

Four curiosities about MEXAS

100% handmade

Our huaraches are 100% handmade in Mexico following a traditional process with more than 500 years of history.

Chemical-free natural leather

The leather we use is vegetable-tanned and chemical-free. Over time the MEXAS leather gets darker, a sign that it is 100% natural.

They adapt to your fit

As they are 100% leather they will adapt to your feet shape.

Social impact

Part of the profit from each sale is donated to a NGO called "Mujeres Aliadas" who help indigenous women in the area we produce.
