OAXACA is the city that has inspired us for this collection, the whole photo shoot has been done there. It is a beautiful place, full of color and foklore.

  • Choose your usual size.
  • Nude base and straps in earth tones.
  • An improved version of our ankle-strap espadrilles, now more comfortable because you don't have to tie them! 😝 They have a rear grip that holds the foot very well.
  • Suitable for any type of foot and very comfortable thanks to its padded insole and 3 cm. high platform.
  • They look great with dresses as they stylize the legs.
  • Available in three colors (see last photo): AGAVE (coral), OAXACA (combination brown tones) and MAGÜEY (camel).

We recommend that you choose your usual size. If they fit tight the first few days it is always better since, being made of leather, they will eventually adapt to your fit.

You can also consult our Sizing Guide where you will find the measurements of each model to compare it with your foot.

Composition

Chemical-free vegetable-tanned cowhide. Over time the leather of the MEXAS changes color, a sign that it is 100% natural. That is why they get darker just like we do when the sun hits on us :)

Care

You can clean them with a damp cloth, being careful not to get too wet as they darken.

Four curiosities about MEXAS

100% handmade

Our huaraches are 100% handmade in Mexico following a traditional process with more than 500 years of history.

Chemical-free natural leather

The leather we use is vegetable-tanned and chemical-free. Over time the MEXAS leather gets darker, a sign that it is 100% natural.

They adapt to your fit

As they are 100% leather they will adapt to your feet shape.

Social impact

Part of the profit from each sale is donated to a NGO called "Mujeres Aliadas" who help indigenous women in the area we produce.
